Details of Joan Jett and the Ticket Luck value
They released their debut album “Dreamboat Annie” in 1975 and even though it took a few months before it could be released in the US, it still managed to do very well there. Due to the success of primarily two singles, “Crazy on You" and "Magic Man”, the album made it to number seven on the Billboard charts and was certified platinum in the US and Canada.
They have since made a total of fifteen albums, the last of which came out in 2012. Of these, five have recorded multiplatinum sales in the US, while two have been certified platinum. Six of these albums have also made it into the top ten of the Billboard charts, with their self titled 1985 effort their bestselling record to date. In total they have sold over twenty two million records, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
You Don't Know What You've Got
Joan Jett has been referred to as the 'Queen of Rock' and the 'Godmother of Punk', and all for a good reason too. She has been among the most influential female artists the music industry has ever seen, and her contributions over the years have earned her respect from both her fans, as well as her contemporaries.
Jett first came to prominence in 1975 as part of an all girls band called the Runaways. They made four albums, which did quite well around the world, and produced hit singles such as “Cherry Bomb” and “Rock and Roll.” However, by 1979 Joan had had enough and she started to contemplate embarking on her own solo career.
No matter how she tried, Jett was unable to continue in a solo capacity and soon realized that she needed to have a backing band in order to get the best out of herself. So she formed the Blackhearts after a long and arduous auditioning process, and they released their first major album, “Bad Reputation” in 1981. Even though this album could only make it to number fifty one on the Billboard charts, its follow-up “I Love Rock and Roll” made it to number two on the music charts and was certified platinum in the US and Canada. She has since released a total of fourteen albums and in 2015 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which she will celebrate by heading out on tour.
I Want You to Want Me
Many artists have complained about excessive touring schedules and how they can be very taxing on a person's health and well being. However the Cheap Trick is not one of those artists. This is one band that has showcased their love for playing live shows over and over again, with over five thousand recorded performances to date.
The group was formed in 1973 and released their self titled album four years later. They have since released a total of seventeen albums, of which six have made it into the top forty of the Billboard charts, while four have been certified platinum, with two recording gold level sales. Along with Joan Jett, they were also inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, and are now going on tour with her as well.
With these three behemoths of the music industry going on tour together, here is your chance to watch them for yourself. Just book your Heart, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts & Cheap Trick tickets and enjoy the show live.
