Details of Idian Raichel Project and the Ticket Luck value
Idian Raichel is a diverse musican, songwriter and the head of his project called Idian Raichel Project. His songs are famous for a unique fusion that is created with hints of a mix of other cultural sounds including Arab and Ethiopian mixes too. To add to that are the Hebrew texts of course. Before starting the Project, Idian Raichel’s main focus was on the keyboard. He also collaborated with artists including Ivri Lider.
Born in Israel, Idian Raichel started playing music when he was only nine years old. From that time onwards, he knew what he wanted; he was very fascinated with long hair, a gypsy style in music and tango. To enhance his ideas, he also learnt how to play the jazz piano while he was at high school.
Initially, Idian was also a part of the Israeli Defense Forces. He was not only part of the band of the Defennse Forces but played and performed too. He soon became the organizer and musical director of the set and took care of the live shows. Soon after his military service, Idian Raichel began working for immigrants as a counselor at a boarding school. While he worked there, he became familiar with Ethiopian pop and folk music due to the great number of Ethiopian Jews at the boarding school.
Before he hit it big, Idian Raichel was a recording session player and a backup musician for some of Isreal’s biggest names in music. Following this, Raichel decided to give music a shot himself and began recording a demo tape at his own little studio he had set up at his parent’s basement in their Isreal home. Idian also encouraged other singers to join him and create a mix of different music styles. As a result, he ended up with a huge variety of great singers and musicians from all over the world some of which included Yemenites, Arabs, Ethiopian Jews and many others to name. Fortunately, Idian’s efforts were immediately taken notice of when Gadi Gador from Helicon Records signed him for a new album. The album made it big instantly. It came out in the year 2002. Idian Raichel did most of the vocal, lyrics and keyboards while the other artists backed him up. Some great numbers from the album include Boi, M’dab’rim B’sheket and Im Telech.
With his music reaching more people and becoming more famous, one problem existed. As the demand for live shows increased, Rachail could not manage to get so many musicians up on stage at once. This is why he selected only seven to accompany him.
Rachail’s second release is called Mi’ma’amakim and came out in the year 2005. The album has the expected amazing blend of different cultures. The first and the last songs of the album also feature Shoshana Damari, an Israeli singer. The album has Zulu, Hindi, Yemenite Hebrew and Arabic that accompanies the Amharic and Hebrew tunes.
A greatest hits album was released in the year 2006 by the name of The Idian Raichel Project. This also marked the first time his music was dispatched internationally. This release was coordinated with another release at the same time, One World, Many Cultures. A part of the revenue from the album went to an organization that deals with removing conflict and differences among people and helps teach them how to collaborate to solve various issues.
Ben Kirot Beyti was the third album that was released in 2008. This was also an album that had many sounds and voices from over the world. This year, Idian Raichel also made an appearance when Alicia Keys was performing for the very first time in Israel.
