Le R?ve is a French word that means "The Dream". In the showbiz it is referred to the first creation that was opened in the famous casino resort called Wynn Las Vegas.

It is staged under water in the unique theater that contains 1 million gallon water. The stage has hi-tech special effects supported by real time diving.

The theatre boasts seats which are located only 40 feet above the stage. This production was conceived and created by Franco Dragone. The total cost of the theatre is still not known. The master man Dragone also produced productions such as Quidam, Mystere, Algeria and O, La Nouba.

The Mystifying Experience
The Le Reve theatre is indeed a unique experience of sitting in a round fashion on one of 1608 seats near a twenty seven feet water pool and the best part is that he farthest place to sit is not any farther than forty two feet from the pool water.

The architecture of the theatre has been conceived such that there is very little separation between the audience and the stage. This gives the audience the experience to get engaged in the performance.

The stage has colorful characters emerging from various sides of the theatre. The experience is mystifying when you see a masked character looking back at you, thus enriching you with an experience that stays with you forever. Characters ascend from the water pool or climb from the arched ceiling.

The show
The show opens with dancing men and women. This is followed by angels who take the women away, thus beginning the dream. The show features soft music to begin with and these music later changes to loud and reenergizing themes when creatures emerge from the water, coming to the center of the stage.

The characters have varying expressions and masks. Few look cute while others appear mean and terrifying. Aerialists come down the ceiling and soon the pool becomes a magnificent ball of fire. Characters come and disappear from the stage within seconds, giving a continuous changing stage performances.

Varying scenes change on a platform which is situated within a pool, risen 15 feet above the water. The performances are supported by special lighting effects and inspiring background music entertains the audience to the maximum.

Drops of rain appear to fall from the ceiling, immersing within the ring of fire, concealing varying characters of the show emerging from water. Gymnasts show their expert moves on a tree-like stage which rises from the pool of water.

Acts
The production appears like a journey where varying acts flawlessly flow into each other, thus giving the feeling of a dream come true. The characters pose across a globe which is randomly lowered and risen to various heights above the water. This gives a breathtaking experience to the crowd, who sit on their seats stunned and holding their breaths.

The divers
Huge effort is put in backstage to make these performances appear so seamless. While the show is on, 16 divers help performers underwater. Moreover, regulators are used to aide performers in travelling under the water, ensuring the life of actors while their heads are under water. These performances are made possible with aides behind the curtain which are timed perfectly to create this dazzling show.

The Dress Changers
The acts are lined up and this show is not possible with quick costume changes. The helpers run back and forth to help the actors in quickly performing their due tasks and make them ready for the subsequent acts. Dressers work tirelessly behind the curtains to create a performance of this standard.
