The Knight Concert Hall is one of the two main performance halls at the Adrienne Arsht Center. The venue with a 2200 seating capacity is designed to support world class acoustics perfect for chamber orchestra, chamber music, recitals and symphony orchestra. Moreover, the place can also accommodate a wide variety of other types of performances including light pop and jazz. And to come up to the range of its intended uses, adjustable acoustic system is installed in the hall which includes an adjustable canopy, a separate acoustic control chamber, chamber doors to adjust to the acoustic environment and acoustic banners and curtains. Performances and artists from all over the world are brought to Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center and thousands of people every year are entertained with brilliant orchestras and symphonies.

 

Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center tickets have been hot sellers since the time the venue opened up in 2006. In addition to the touring events presented here, the place also has resident performances, the most popular of which is a three-week event of the Cleveland Orchestra. There are three more resident companies here which have seasons at different times of the year. These are the Florida Grand Opera, the Miami City Ballet and the New World Symphony. Apart from the orchestral performances and symphonies, Miami series of Broadway musicals and shows are also presented here. In the two performance halls of the Adrienne Arsht Center collectively, productions presented here includes Mary Poppins, Memphis, The Addams Family, Million Dollar Quartet, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, Chicago, Cats, The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, My Fair Lady and The Color Purple.

 

Knight Concert Hall is housed at Arienne Arsht Center which is one of the largest centers for performing arts in the U.S. and the biggest in Florida; with a historic and beautiful Art Deco architecture. Apart from Knight Concert Hall, the other main hall of the Center is Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House with a seating capacity of 2400 and is a separate building of the complex. Carnival Studio Theater, Peacock Rehearsal Studio and Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts are the three smaller in-house venues of the Adrienne Arsht Center. There is also a restaurant, Prelude by Barton G., at the arena for fine-dining. The Center also has an education complex and a huge outdoor plaza.

 

John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center is a beautiful place to enjoy a symphony or orchestral performance. Its stage is designed in a way that it extends into audience seating with an additional capacity of 200 behind the stage for a chorus or additional spectators.
