Stomp made its debut in 1991 and performed for the first time in the United Kingdom. It is the creative masterpiece of Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. The show features a group of talented performers from around the world who uses different items like broom, zippo lighters, matchboxes and garbage cans among others as percussion instruments to create music.

After its first performance received an overwhelming response from the world, Stomp was later premiered at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh where it bagged the Daily Express ‘Best of the Fringe’ Award. Between 1991 and 1994, the show toured the world and soon began its run in the New York’s Orpheum Theatre where it won a Drama Desk Award in the category of ‘Most Unique Theatre Experience.’ It also won an Obie Award.
