As the young Carole Klein and her husband Gerry Goffin collaborate with friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann to write songs, Klein's personal life starts to fall apart. The talented songstress refuses to give up and strikes back with ?Tapestry?, a stirring collection of songs that was to become one of the finest works of her career. Based on the book by playwright Douglas McGrath, the story accurately captures the spirit of love, friendship and personal struggles. Together with director Marc Bruni and choreographer Josh Prince, McGrath has successfully showcased a star in the making.
