The Cincinnati Reds have been around for over a hundred and thirty years and have won every major title there is to win. They  have also featured some of the greatest baseball players in history. Their winning mentality became apparent when they won the AA Championship in their very first year and they have just built on that success ever since.

The Reds were created in 1881 and made a great start, winning over sixty eight percent of their games in their inaugural season. They continued to post positive results and recorded only two losing season records in their first ten years in the MLB.

One of the best periods in the franchise’s history came between 1970 and 1976, when they managed to win two World Series titles, out of a total of four tries. All in all they have won five World Series, ten NL Pennants and ten division titles.

After their division title win in 1995, the Reds embarked on one of the most disappointing runs in their history and didn’t qualify for the playoffs for the next fourteen years. In 2010 they finally managed to win another division title, and have since been improving steadily.
