Dara ? Briainis a name of great Irish comedian and television presenter, who has won many awards for the wonderful performances.

He was born on 4th of February in 1972, in the town of Wicklow. He is considered to be the most successful Irish comedian to have appeared on the comedy scenes of UK for almost a decade.

He has great tours to all of over the Ireland and England, and has hosted and appeared in a variety of panel shows which also includes The Panel, Don't Feed the Gondolas, Mock the Week and QI, Writing for the Evening Standard and many others.

? Briain had begun his television career as a children's presenter on RT?, and had started to perform for the stand-up acts. He had joined the showbiz industry after the completion of his college studies.

He had worked as a presenter of a bilingual (Irish and English) children's program named Echo Island, but he had go the attention of the audience, while working as a team captain on the topical panel show named Don't Feed The Gondolas.

? Briain has got a great fame on the international level for his stand up acts, and lots of tours have been in his pocket at around the calendar. He has performed in many continents like Europe, Asia, Australia, and his shows are awaited in Dubai, Boston, Greenock, Adelaide, Shanghai and New York.

Due to the great popularity in the United Kingdom, he had started to appear on UK television shows around 2002. Some of the important shows were like Bring Me the Head and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

He had started to host the second series of BBC Scotland's Live Floor Show, in the year of 2003. The biggest break in his career at UK television was flourished in 2003. It was a time when he had appeared as a guest in a very popular news quiz, Have I Got News For You.

Dara has been nominated and awarded at number of times for his flawless performances. He got a nomination in the year of 2003 at the Chortle Comedy Awards for Live Comedy in the categories Best Comp?re and Best Headline Act.

In 2004 he won the Best Headliner award again, as well as being nominated for Best Full-length Show. He had worked in number of other prestigious projects like comedy panel game Mock the Week on BBC television, which was a mixture of two shows Have I Got News for You and Whose Line is it Anyway.

There are other prominent television works like the hosting of the BBC sitcom writing competition Last Laugh and two documentaries which re-created the British comedy novel Three Men in a Boat.
