All the five boys that formed 311 hail from Nebraska. The five boys include Nick Hexum, S.A. Martinez, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton and P-Nut, the bassist. Their music is multi-genre including rock, hip hop, reggae, punk, funk and heavy metal. In 1995 music lovers saw their first album which was exceptionally famous and remained in the top 15 of the Billboard 200. Radio airing of their songs gave them further recognition. Five of their songs attained a 3rd position for various weeks on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. These songs will certainly be a highlight of the 311 Louisville KY live performance.
 

‘All Mixed Up’ was their third single in a row and reached fourth position on the Modern Rock chart instantly after its release. In 2008, 311 managed to go to a studio with Bob Rock, producer of Metallica, Motley Crue and The Cult, among others, where they started working on their ninth album. The band recorded this album in two parts; half before their 2008 summer tour and the remaining after coming back from the summer tour. They were supported throughout the tour by Snoop Dogg. “Sunset In July” their 10th album was a huge accomplishment and was first aired in June 2011.
 

The success of these albums helped the band's first two major albums get attraction and attention. These albums were namely ‘Music’ and ‘Grassroots’ which as of now have crossed the boundaries of success.  This band is performing live soon.
