The Scottrade Center located in St. Louis, Missouri will end the year by hosting an event in which the progressive rock band, Trans Siberian Orchestra will perform. The four member ensemble will be performing their 1998 rock opera 'the Christmas Attic'. With two concerts at the Scottrade Center, TSO will end its Winter Tour 2014. Fans can look forward to listening to tracks such as 'Boughs of Holly', 'the March of the Kings/Hark the Herald Angels Sing', 'Christmas Canon', 'Joy/Angels We Have Heard on High' and 'Christmas in the Air', including others.

 

'The Christmas Attic' is the second album in Christmas trilogy released by Trans Siberian Orchestra in between 1996 and 2000. The record narrates the story of a girl whose curiosity leads her to finding a magical doorway in her attic that takes her into a world filled with toys, ornaments, handwritten letters and old records. TSO's unique rock operas have earned them over 10 million record sales and concert tickets. With this the rock group is ranked among the top selling bands of the millennium.

 

Formed in 1996, Trans Siberian Orchestra came into existence when acclaimed producer Paul O'Neill got together with musician, Jon Olivia to work on a concept of rock operas regarding Christmas. Apart from Paul and Jon, TSO consists of Robert Kinkel and Al Pitrelli. The band's repertory consists of five studio albums, a compilation record and an EP.
