The story follows the threats made by a shadowy character named the Phantom who haunts the Paris Opera. The man falls in love with the gorgeous opera singer Christine when he watches her perform on the opening night. Christine, who is betrothed to childhood love interest Raoul, struggles to return the love showered on her. This angers the Phantom who kidnaps her in an act of jealousy. A love triangle forms where Raoul fights to win back the love of his life from the Phantom. What ensues is a brilliant tale of acceptance and love.

 

The musical is out on a North American tour and will be hitting major cities in Canada and the US. Among the touring cast are notable names such as Katie Travis playing the beautiful Christine, Storm Lineberger as Raoul and Chris Mann as the Phantom. The musical is coming to Charlotte, North Carolina for performances at the Belk Theatre of the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
