Passion Pit is an electro-pop band from the United States of America. The band was formed in 2007 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This music group comprises of Michael Angelkos who plays the keyboard and is also the lead vocalist, Ayad Al Adhamy who plays the samples and the synthesizer, Ian Hultquist who plays the guitar as well as the keyboard, Nate Donmoyer who is the drummer for the band and jeff Apruzzese the bassist and the synth bassist. Apart from Michael Angelkos, all the band members attended Berklee College of Music which is in Boston. Their main music genres atr alternative dance, synth-pop, indie rock, electro-pop and indie pop. The music recording label companies that the band has been associated with have been Frenchkiss Records and also the Columbia Records.
