What you need to know about Janet Jackson's upcoming Unbreakable album

A dynamic performer and Billboard hit-maker, Janet Jackson has been rocking the pop and R&B music landscape for some decades now. Recently, she grabbed the attention of press with the announcement of a new album and tour. Fans and music critics alike are welcoming her back with open arms as she ends her extended hiatus with these recent efforts.

• The album titled Unbreakable is the eleventh studio project by the pop and R&B diva and is scheduled for release on October 2.  It's her first album in seven years since 2008's Discipline and also the first under her newly formed independent record label, Rhythm Nation Records.

• The album features seventeen singles, three of which have already been released, including Janet's latest Billboard-charting, hot R&B song ?No Sleeep? and the title song ?Unbreakable.?

• On Unbreakable, the iconic star recruited the help of long-time collaborators, the famous producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Also featured on one of the singles ?Burnitup!? is the popular singer Missy Elliot. 

• The prodigious singer/songwriter and choreographer is currently on her extensive album support Unbreakable World Tour. Due to overwhelming demand, several new dates had to be added to the trek which features nearly a hundred dates already.
