Black Sabbath Las Vegas Nv Tickets
Rock music has gone through a lot of changes over the years as more and more artists experiment with their sound. However, Black Sabbath was one of the first to bring this genre to prominence and take it the next level in the process. They are among the very few bands that made heavy metal popular in the genre's earliest years during the eighties and nineties, and their influence on today's music industry is incalculable.
From the shadows
The first line up of the band consisted of Ozzy Osbourne (vocalist), Geezer Butler (bass), Tony Iommi (guitar) and Bill Ward (drums). The four met in 1968 after answering a personal ad by Osbourne and formed the 'Polka Tulk Blues Band.' The name was later changed to Black Sabbath, shortly before they released their first self titled album in 1970. They would release their second album later that year and these two records would turn them in to overnight stars.
Into the light
Their first two albums were both certified platinum in the US and laid the foundations for much of their later releases. All in all they have released nineteen albums, with four of those going platinum, two going multi-platinum and three going gold. They have sold a total of seventy million records across the globe and have also won two Grammy Awards for the ?Best Metal Performance.? Now that they are heading out on tour, grab your Black Sabbath Las Vegas NV tickets and watch these legends, live on the stage.
