Terry Fator was born on 10th of June, 1965 in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. Fator first realized that he can be a ventriloquist when he was in his fifth grade and also gave his first performance at a church picnic in the same year and won a 25 dollar prize. Fator got his first dummy at the age of ten and when he was in his sixth grade, he purchased a dummy which he bought with his own saving money and also in sixth grade he got to work in a children's show, Peppermint Place, which was a popular show in Dallas. Till 1988 Fator was the lead singer of the band called Freedom jam and after that he used to sing in a band called Texas the Band. Like all the great performers, Fator was also not appreciated and noticed. So much that he thought of quitting his profession. Then he got the idea of combining singing and ventriloquism and that's where he got a turn in his career and he entered America's Got Talent and there he got recognized as an excellent performer. After this he started getting a lot of offers.

Performing at Larry Norman's 60th birthday party was a memorable event as Larry Norman called it one of the fun years of his life. For a year or so, he performed at the Hilton Hotel. In 2008, Fator appeared on Oprah Winfrey Show with the famous Simon Cowell and was highly appreciated by Oprah, Simon and the audience as well. In 2008, he contracted to perform at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas with a deal that is considered to be the largest entertainment deals in the history of Las Vegas. He started performing in the Mirage Hotel and casino in February 2009. Fator is also done writing a book which is finished and out now. Writing a book was a thing Fator never dreamed of doing. Fator is also involved in doing a lot of charity work for many institutions.

The names of his puppets are Walter T. Airedale, which is a country singer and is with Fator for the longest time. Winston the Impersonating Turtle was inspired by Kermit the Frog. Emma Taylor is liked by Fator a lot and he thinks Emma is his Best Puppet Friend. Maynard Thomkins impersonated Elvis Presley. Julius is an African American soul singer puppet who was greatly admired at the Oprah Winfrey Show. Johnny Vegas is a lounge singer. Dougie Scott Walker is a heavy metal singer. And the last one is Vicky the Cougar who is also a female singer who is 49 and likes to date younger men as is shown in her name. Each puppet has it own specialty and fame and many others are in the process of making and soon will appear with Fator.
