Ty Segall always had a passion for music so he decided he wanted to become a musician at a very early age. Segall started his career by becoming a member of several groups who were renowned to play underground. Segall also began to collaborate with other groups and the result was an LP with the band Black Time which was titled Swag/Sitting In The Back of A Morris Marina Parked at the Pier Eating Sandwiches Whilst the Rain Drums on the Roof. Preceding it was another list of limited edition tracks. Segall joined hands with Mikal Cronin and came out with Reverse Shark Attack another collaborative effort.

Over the years Segall has continued to keep his style and his music evolving. He hasn't stuck to conventional rock and ventured into motile sub-genres like garage rock, indie rock, garage punk and psychedelic rock. Lemons and Melted were released in 2009 and 2010 respectively and gave a glimpse into his evolving style. His journey as an amazing versatile performer was completed with the likes of Goodbye Bread and Twins. These released earned widespread praise from across the board and made people sit up and take notice of Segall's wonderful skills.

Apart from being a solo artist, Ty Segall is now also an active member of the groups like The Perverts, Party Fowl, The Traditional Fools, Sic Alps, Epsilons and last but not the least his own Ty Segall Band.
