After the lapse of three years, the band released their second album The Great Radio Controversy which truly played its role in the growing popularity and fan following of the band. Thus in 1991 Psychotic Supper was the bench mark achievement attained by Tesla and thus established themselves as one of the few crazily-followed bands of the times. 

Later in 1994 there came a time when the band went into hiatus and each member tried to practice their luck independently. It was after this time of six years that the band once again reunited and emerged with an entirely new perspective. After the great come back of Tesla the band played a super hit sold out show in 2000 at Sacramento's Arco Arena. Later in 2002 they were featured in the Rock Never Stops Tour along with many other 1980's rock bands. In 2007, Tesla gained global fame as they planned their world tour for the very first time in 16 years. With a mission to present the rock music in an entirely new way Tesla has shown their philanthropic side too by contributing in various fund- raising occasions and thus benefiting the society at large.
