Apart from Bart, other members of MercyMe include Nathan Cochran, Robin troy Shaffer, Nathan Cochran, James Philip Bryson, Michael John Scheuchzer and Barry Graul. Scheuchzer and Graul are the guitarists of the band. Cochran is the bass guitarist while James Philip is the keyboardist. Robin Troy Shaffer plays his role as the drummer and makes the best use of his various drum beats talents. The first album by the band was released on INO Records. Before working with INO records, they had released six independent albums. The first major album of the MercyMe was Almost There. The hit single of the band was I Can Only Imagine and for this song, the band earned a Dove Award for Song of the Year. Meanwhile the song gained mainstream success and reached Billboard 200 top songs charts. The song I Can Only Imagine also made its place in the Hot 100, Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary, Mainstream top 40 and Country Songs charts. MercyMe 2020 Tour Announced

After super hit spring and fall Imagine Nation Tours in 2019, MercyMe announced plans for its 2020 tour. Featuring David Leonard and Jeremy Camp, the outing will kick off on February 13 and run through April 5, 2020.
