Finding His Voice

Influenced by Tim McGraw and Kenney Chesney, Luke Combs discovered his singing voice during his childhood years. While studying at the Appalachian State University, he played his first country music gig at the Parthenon Cafe. Due to his growing love for the genre, he dropped out of college and went to Nashville in order to focus on his music career.

On February 4, 2014, Luke Combs released his first extended play, 'The Way She Rides.' A few months later, he came out with his follow-up EP, 'Can I Get an Outlaw.' The following year, his third EP, 'This One's for You' hit the markets. He was then included in the Sound Like Nashville's list of the 'Artists to Watch.'

Signing With Sony Music Nashville

Luke Combs signed with Sony Music Nashville which issued his first single, Hurricane on October 3, 2016. This song became a humongous hit in the United States, going quadruple platinum in the country and even reached the top spot on the Country Airplay chart. It also severed as the lead single of his first studio album, 'This One's for You' which hit the shelves on June 2, 2019. The record climbed to the first and fourth spot on the Top Country Albums and Billboard 200 respectively. It also recorded double platinum sales in the States and was approved by the critics. Fifteen days later, Combs released the second single from the effort, When It Rains It Pours which became a multi-platinum hit in North America.

'This One's for You' produced three more singles, One Number Away, She Got the Best of Me and Beautiful Crazy. All of these songs turned out to be chart-topping hits.

Coming Out With New Music

On November 8, 2019, Luke Combs put out his sophomore studio project, 'What You See Is What You Get.' It marked his first effort to top the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances from Eric Church and Brooks & Dunn. It also gave a couple of number-one singles, Even Though I'm Leaving and Beer Never Broke My Heart.  

Setting Out On A Road Trip

To support, 'What You See Is What You Get,' Luke Combs has announced his latest tour. The trek will begin with a show at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia on February 7, 2020. From there, he will go on to make his stop in cities including Lexington, Colorado Springs, Houston, Winsted and Corpus Christi. He plans to end the tour on July 10, 2020.
