Katt Micah Williams - an American comedian, rapper and an actor was born September 2, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is described by Rolling Stone (the magazine) as the "hottest comedian in America-

Son of a former member of the Black Panther Party, Williams was raised in Dayton, OH. He left home at 13 and moved to Florida with his dog, Rasha, and became a street vendor. In his teens, he crafted his art on the stand-up circuits of Florida, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Orleans, Sacramento amongst other places. He has 8 children, seven of which are adopted.

Williams's big break came in the summer of 1999 when he won Cedric The Entertainer's Anheuser-Busch "Best Los Angeles Comics" Award. This drove Katt into the role of 'Money Mike' in 2002's Friday After Next.

In 2001, for the Montreal Comedy Festival and was chosen as one of the 'New Faces'. Before he coming on stage in Canada, he made a deal with NBC Studios and D(dot)nell Productions. In October 2002, he auditioned at Twentieth Century Fox for NYPD Blue and was immediately offered the role. In April 2003, he starred in the Tracy Morgan Pilot for NBC which was picked up for mid-season on NBC, but ultimately got anulled. In the Boondocks episode "Guess Hoe's Coming to Dinner" he voices "A Pimp Named Slickback". He has also made guest appearances in sitcoms such as, My Wife and Kids and Cuts. He is also a regular guest on Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out.

In 2003, he appeared in Nick Cannon's "Gigolo", E40's 'One Night Stand,' Ludacris' "Stand-up" and in 2004, Outkast's, "Roses", Suga Free's 'Thinkin,' and Ludacris' "Pimpin All Over The World". he has also appeared in music videos including Lil' Kim's "Lighter's Up", Paul Wall's "Girl", E40's "U and Dat", Suga Free's "Thinkin'", Nick Cannon's "Dime Piece" , Ice Cube's "Go To Church" ,and Lil Scrappy's "Money in da Bank". Williams has also been present in the music industry. He rapped on The Game's mix tape Ghost Unit. He also rapped with Chamillionaire in the song "Roll Call" on his album Mixtape Messiah. He has also rapped with Snoop Dogg who appears in his HBO Stand-Up "The Pimp Chronicles" and the single is played throughout the movie.

Williams is eminent among the audience as a performer at the Laugh Factory, located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California and has also performed on BET's ComicView, and Def Comedy Jam. He was recently signed to Dipset, a rap group led by Cam'Ron under Warner Music, going by his commonly known name "Money Mike".

In 2006, Williams starred on his own new stand-up HBO show: The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1. He is also putting the finishing touches on his innovative album, It's Pimpin', Pimpin', which will be distributed through Cam'Ron's Diplomat Records. It is supposed that the first single will be Mind Right featuring Snoop Dogg.

Also lately, he hosted first ever BET Hip Hop Awards show on Wednesday November 15, 2006. Katt Williams appeared on The Howard Stern Show, on November 30, 2006, an appearance he considers the high point of his career. He also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Katt Williams' talent is multifaceted. Known to most for his breakout role in three seasons of Nick Cannon, highly-rated MTV's, 'Wild n' Out,' the funnyman has appeared in music videos for everyone from Outkast ('Roses') and Ludacris ('Stand Up' & 'Number One Spot') to E-40 ('One Night Stand') and Lil.. Kim ('Shut Up/Lighter's Up'), besides handling roles on the small and big screen.

Katt also prepares to co-star in MTV's new half-hour series 'Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz,' which will feature topical sketches, impersonations, parodies and other comedic elements. Other cast members include Nick Cannon, Affion Crockett, Eliza Coupe, Leonard Robinson and Taran Killam. The show is set to premiere in March 2007 as part of the network's "10 Spot" lineup.
