Kathleen Madigan is an American comedian who has been seen live by many at numerous American venues as well as on tours such as the USO Tour, a tour in which many saw her live through Kathleen Madigan tickets. She was born in Florissant within the US state of Missouri and grew up in this St Louis suburb as well. She studied at the McCluerNorthHigh School and was an amazing athlete, going on to win the Mid-Missouri Hoops Shoot Championship. In 1983, she enrolled into the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she graduated in 1988 with a degree in journalism. She then went on to work for the Suburban Journals cover St Louis and then at the Missouri Athletics Club publications department. In the world of radio, she is also a well known comedian and is the host of a Blue Collar Comedy show on the Sirius Radio and XM Radio channels. This was again released in 2000 as Live and was followed in 2002 with Shallow Happy Thoughts for the Soul. In 2006, she released In Other Words and the same year, she released a DVD of the same name. Her latest DVD was released in 2011 and is titled as Gone Madigan. When it comes to TV appearances, few comedian can match her. She has had fourteen appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, five appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and an appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She was the writer, consulting producer and performer of the show, Lewis Black's Root of All Evil. She has appearance on the show Late Night with Conan O'Brien and was on Last Comic Standing's two seasons as well as a talent scout on the show.
 
Kathleen Madigan has starred in One Night on HBO and had her own Comedy Central Present special. She has had four appearances on The Best Damn Sports Show Period and was the segment host of Off Beat Sports on the TV channel ESPN 2. She has appeared on Turly Funny Women on the Lifetime TV channel, five times on The Dennis Miller Show and once each on The Bonnie Hunt Show and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.
