After a string of side projects, they came up with a video from another album "Beyond Hell." The album was released on August 29, 2006, and the band started touring to support the album in different places.

They performed in the third annual Rock & Shock festival as a part of this tour and also performed a special "half-time" show at the "Sounds Of The Underground Tour" in the same year along with many famous bands.

The DVD of "Beyond Hell" was released in June 20, 2006, containing exclusive behind the scenes and vintage footage of the band.

The success story of "Beyond Hell" has still not ended as the band has promoted the album for quite ling. On April 7, 2007, they released their long awaited video of "Eighth Lock off" from the album. They also had a headlining slot on "Sounds of the Underground 2007" where they rocked the audiences with their impeccable performances.

Over the years, GWAR has managed to maintain their fan base all over United States. They provide the bets of metal music to their fans. However, there is something more about this band that makes them different and famous.

The band is best known for their elaborate sci-fi and horror film inspired minimal costumes that has earlier caused raising some eyebrows, but now the idea is taken by some other bands as well.

Their costumes are generally made of foam latex, Styrofoam, and hardened rubber and cover very little, while the rest of their bodies are highlighted with makeup.
