Hyde is singer, actor, musician and record producer from Wakayama, Japan. Real name Hideo Takarai, he was originally known as the lead singer for "L'Arc en Ciel" as well as "The Camps". He is known for singing rock music and for performing with all the stylistic elements typical of a rock show. Before he began to sing, he was a guitarist for the band "Jerusalem Rod". He was the songwriter for most of the bands he was a part of. He later on went for a solo career in which he was fairly successful. He released 4 different albums with 8 singles. In 2008, he started his own recording company by the name of Vamprose. He is a multitalented entertainer who continues to command the stage today as he did before. His fans can buy Hyde tickets online if they wish to see any of his shows from his upcoming world tour with "L'Arc en Ciel".

After the band had announced going on hiatus in the year 2000, every member started to its solo career. Hyde, too, began to test the waters for a solo career. By October of 2001, he had already put out his first song, "Evergreen". He released two more songs, "Shallow Sheep" and "Angel's Tale" before he decided to release a full length album. His solo debut was titled "Roentgen" which he initially only released in Japan. Later on, he recorded an English version of the album as well to release elsewhere in the world. By November of 2003, his work began to be known in many countries around the world. His songs, "Horizon" and "Hello" were particularly enjoyed by his fans. "Horizon" was even featured in the movie "Sky High" as the ending theme tune.

Hyde tried a multiple projects in his time as a solo singer. In 2003, he starred in the movie "Moon Child" in which he appeared with Gackt. The two even recorded a duet together as part of the film. It was a song called "Orenji no Taiyou", which they were set to perform together live. However, this was never made possible as Hyde was on his own tour. Later on, Gackt chose to put the song on his own album, his fourth record, "Cresent". Another one of Hyde's work to appear in popular media was "Shining Over You", which was featured in "Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean", a popular video game. The song was also a part of his album entitled "666".

For a year following his solo endeavors, L'Arc en Ciel decided to reunite. They performed at different points at various concerts for seven days. This was titled the "Shibuya Seven Days", and was spread out from June to July. When the concert series ended, they announced that they were going to be releasing a new album, "Smile". This work was finally sold in stores by March of 2004. This was also the year that the band went to North America for the first time. They perform a few dates, all of which became part of their DVD, "Live in USA". Hyde went on a different venture once this tour was complete. He appeared in another movie, 'Kagen no Tsuki". The movie was based on a manga, in which he played a guitarist. He even provided the film's theme tune, "The Cape of Storms". This came from his album, "Roentgen".

By 2006, Hyde had become an intentional artist. His song "Season's Call" was used in "Blood +", an anime which was particularly famous in North America. He also released his next album, "Faith" around this time, which resonated well with the overseas audience. To promote this record, he toured for five months, through many places in Japan. He even held concerts that were only exclusive to the people in his fan club.

He made his proper US debut at this time as well when he got signed to "Tofu Records". He continued the Faith tour here as well and performed in Omaha and in San Francisco. He went on publicity tours as well, holding question and answer panels, and other similar press conferences throughout Los Angeles.

Lars en Ceils then decided to come together again and released a new song "Seventh Heaven". They are now working on new material once more and are performing all over the world. If you are a fan of the band, or simply the singer, Hyde tickets are for you
