Nelson was picked by the Green Bay Packers on April 26th, 2008. In very little time he recorded his very first touchdown with a yard pass from Aaron Rodgers. His second touchdown came 14 weeks later in Houston and he finished the season with over 33 receptions for 2 touchdowns as well as 366 yards. Nelson went on to play in the 2009 season. Playing 13 games that season for the Packers, he was able to catch over 22 balls for 320 yards. Not only this, he became an instant hit as the kick returner for the remaining part of the year. Perhaps, the 2010 season was the biggest breakthrough in his career as he reached his career high with receiving 582 yards as well as 45 catches.
Jordy Nelson's list of achievements is not small, he ranks number two in the National Football League with over twenty TD catches since 2011. Not only this, he is tied at the number two spot in the active NFL players with three career catches of more than 80. He was also selected as one of the three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award in 2007 and was one of the first NFL players after the merger of NFL and AFL in 1970.
