Rehab
Rehab is an American rock/rap group, noted for producing a kind of music which is a mixture of southern rock, dirty south rap, reggae, alternative and the popular 90s rock/rap style. Formed during the late 1990s in Warner Robins, Georgia, Rehab has released two major albums so far.

Their four other discs are also in existence. Besides, they have charted two singles on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks charts. The group was originally formed as a trio enlisting Steaknife, Danny Alexander, and Brooks Buford. After the formation of Rehab, they came up with their debut album entitled To Whom It May Consume.

To-date, Rehab has issued three albums including To Whom It May Consume released in 1999, Southern Discomfort in 2000 and Graffiti the World in 2005. In the early months of 2007, Cuz We Can became available on CD.

Rehab released its debut album called To Whom It May Consume in 1999. Soon after the release of Steaknife and Brooks Buford-produced-album, the band signed a record deal to Epic/Sony. The trios major label debut, called Southern Discomfort, hit stores in October 2000.

Rehab dedicated a song to their hometown called This Town with Danny Alexander and Brooks on board, hailing from the city of Warner Robins, south of Macon, Georgia.

Rehab scheduled Steaknife(Denny Campbell) to issue a CD through Priority Records but was later dropped from the label. Denny later began recording his first full length studio album tentatively titled White Noize. The album produced by Steaknife (Denny Campbell and Soulful-I (Jared Adair) was released on their myspace page under the user name of snowblindwhitenoize.

Currently, Steaknife is working with Danny Boone Alexander and Brooks Buford on a new album scheduled to come out sometime in April, as is Soulfuli on his own solo album called Head high.

Rehabs second album Southern Discomfort begins with a skit of them breaking out of a rehabilitation facility. The album's title references Southern Comfort, a brand of liquor. Southern Discomfort went on to sell over 140,000 units, and produced such hits as Sittin' At A Bar, It Don't Matter, Rattle My Cage.

The album also featured such guests as Cee-Lo, Goodie Mob, Steaknife, and Cody Chestnutt. In late 2005, Brooks went on to play host to the MTV series called Trailer Fabulous and in 2006, he hosted the MTV International series Bustamove.

Following the release of Graffiti the World, Rehab set out on a tour supporting the Vans Warped Tour which lasted for 2 years. They performed with bands such as Linkin Park. Later Danny called it quits over a difference in creative view points. After 2 years on road, the band re-emerged with a new album called Graffiti the World in 2007.

The new Rehab was brought together by original band member Danny Boone who was joined by longtime musicians Mike Hartnett-lead guitar, Hano Leathers- Bass, Chris Hood-Drums, Foz-Rhythm Guitar, and DJ Chris Crisis-Musical effects. Joining them was an additional and unofficial member of the group, Demun Jones.

Rehabs Demum Jones often steps in to perform the raps that Brooks once sang. With help from local Atlanta producer Billy Hume, this line-up put together new tracks and re-worked old classics as Graffiti the World.

Atlanta-based rock/rap band Rehab released Graffiti the World. It is their fourth commercially-released album and was re-released on Universal Republic Records in 2008. Graffiti the World was Rehab's first album to feature the new line-up, following the departure of Jason Brooks Buford.

The album features tracks like What Do you Want From Me, Graffiti The World,Last Tattoo and This Town Danny Boone. After the release of Graffiti the World, Rehab set out on a tour in the USA and Canada in 2007. The 2007 tour ended December 8th in Seminole Florida and the band came back to their home state of Georgia for a well deserved rest.

Rehab came up with Sittin' at a Bar which featured their single of the same name. With a shuffled tracklisting and new mixes of the title cut, the album is a repackaging of their Epic Records album Southern Discomfort. The label put it out to capitalize on the success of Sittin' at a Bar.

Brooks Buford after the group's initial separation, went on to record several projects, Straight Outta Rehab, which was never released due to Artista going out of business. He is currently working on a follow-up album titled Suspicious Package as well as a side project with Ashley Alan-Lee and Tommy Henriksen called The Audio Club.

Universal Republic Records signed the Warner Robins mash-up group in May 2008. They issued Rehab's 2005 independent release, Graffiti The World, later in the spring with 3 additional never-before-heard tracks. Prior to releasing their new album in 2008, Rehab has decided to undergo a mini-tour focused in the southeast.

They made stops in Georgia, Alabama, Carolina, Tennessee and Florida, including first time visit to the Rehab fan capital of Florida: Destin. Graffiti the World was re-released on Universal Republic Records in 2008. It was Rehab's first album to feature the new line-up, following the departure of Jason Brooks Buford.

Rehab embarked on a short west coast September tour with Pop Rock and Country crossover artist Kid Rock. They also released a new video of their newly titled Bartender song formerly known as Sittin at a bar which was recorded with Country Superstar Hank Williams Jr.

Rehabs newly released video can be found posted and played on CMT's Top 20 Countdown show staring Lance Smith. It is also available on MTV's website along with the brief overview and history of the band.
