Pegasus Festival Tickets

Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie invites the music lovers to the first annual Pegasus Festival this June. The venue has been engaged in hosting various Broadway shows and concerts since its formation. Some of the famous family shows that have entertained the audience at the venue include, "The Doodlebops Live" and "Sesame Street Live." Apart from this, singers like Justin Bieber, Bob Dylan and Kelly Clarkson have also performed at the venue in the past. This year, celebrated artists like Chris Tucker and James Taylor will be gracing the venue with their performances as well. Lineup for this year's festival includes names such as Brand New, Bad Books, Dustin Kensrue, Circa Survive, Cold War Kids and Residual Kid. Brand New is a rock band whose trademark genres are alternative rock, indie rock and pop punk. The band started gaining success from its second release, Deja Entendu, which hit the shelves in 2003. The album was certified gold shortly after its release. Other than this, the first two singles from the album, "Sic Transit Gloria. Glory Fades" and "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" made it to the UK Singles chart.

Following this, their fourth album Daisy that came out in 2009 was ranked at sixth position on the Billboard 200 at the time of its debut. It received a lot of positive reviews from the critics and audiences. The band has been touring various countries and has been playing at numerous festivals, including Glastonbury Festival and Reading and Leeds Festival. Apart from this, you will also get to enjoy a performance by Bad Books, which is a young band, formed in 2010. The band's debut album, Bad Books came out in 2010, and was promoted by the band in a short four date tour. Following this, the second album, II was released in 2012. "Forest Whitaker," a song from this album was featured on the eminent comedy show, How I Met Your Mother.

Besides this, you will also get a chance to watch Circa Survive take over the stage at the festival.This critically acclaimed band made name in indie music shortly after their formation, when their first album Juturna hit the shelves in 2005. This was followed by On Letting Go, the band's second album. It made it to the 24^th position on the U.S. Billboard 200. Apart from recording, the band also regularly makes tours across the globe and has also accompanied famous bands like Thrice and My Chemical Romance on their tours. These above mentioned prominent bands will be joined by Dustin Kensrue, who is the founder of the critically acclaimed band, Thrice. Apart from having founded this band, Kensrue has also worked on solo projects, including the 2007 release, Please Come Home and the most recent, The Water & the Blood, which came out in 2013.
