Every CSNY band member has a rock background. David Crosby, founder of The Byrds and CPR has been associated with music since the 1960s. Apart from being a singer and a songwriter, Crosby also plays multiple instruments including, the piano, guitar, tambourine and the 12 string guitar.

Crosby has a variety of hits like, Eight Miles High, Mr. Tambourine Man and Turn! Turn! Turn! to his credit. Another important member of CSNY, Stephen Stills, is also a huge name of the music fraternity. He has been recording and performing since 1962 and specializes in playing multiple instruments such as the guitar, organ, viola, bass, drums, piano and percussion. He has worked with a variety of well-known record label companies like Reprise, Raven, Columbia and Atlantic throughout his career. According to the Rolling Stone Magazine, Stephen Stills is one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." He will soon be displaying his exceptional skills at the upcoming CSNY concert.

Graham Nash has been a part of the industry since the 1950s and has given hits like, Carrie Anne, On a Carousel and Stop StopStop. Apart from playing with CSNY, Nash also occasionally performs with the English rock group, The Hollies.

Last but definitely not the least, there is Neil Young who joins CSNY as a part time member. Young began to perform in the early part of 1960's and has gone on to become one of music's greatest artists. He is one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Many people rate Young among the greatest performers in history and that praise is well merited as well.

Their second studio album, "Déjà vu" made it to the Rolling Stone's list of "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" as well and produced hits like, Teach Your Children, Our House and Woodstock. To date, CSNY have released a total of eight studio albums the most recent one being, "Looking Forward."  The record charted on the US Billboard 200 and reached Top 30 positions in several countries across the world.
