Music director Christopher Warren-Green has planned some very exciting events and he will be conducting a performance at a Royal wedding. He is also very active in raising funds for the orchestra and the goal is to raise in the next six years $5.6 million to cover budget deficit, the fund raising campaign kicked off in 2009 at the "Celebrate America" concert in Charlotte Symphony Park.
