Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam Tickets

Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam is one of the happening events taking place in R&B and hip hop music. This mega-concert will feature K-Ci & Jojo, Silk, Dru Hill and Shai, some of the most prominent vocal groups and artists in R&B. K-Ci & Jojo is an American R&B duo from Charlotte, North Carolina. Active since 1990, the act is famous for its soul-laced R&B music and has  released songs and albums via E1 Music, EMI, MCA and RPH Records. They have also played and collaborated with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Too Short, 2Pac and Timbaland.

The duo's two members have released chart-topping songs and were founded when they recorded a cover of If You Think You're Lonely Now by Bobby Womack for the hit movie, Jason's Lyric.  They then went on to record the song How Could You for Bulletproof, a movie starring Adam Sandler and Damon Wayans. In 1996, the duo featured on 2Pac's How Do U Want It, a song that ranked number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts.

K-Ci & Jojo, headliners at Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam, are brothers who have released brilliant R&B tracks. Their first album came in 1997 and spawned tow Top Ten hit singles. The album went on to sell four million copies. They then recorded a song for the movie Life, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. The duo's  second album spawned four hit singles, including a number two Billboard hit. The duo has given number of sensational songs, with their latest album being 2013's My Brother's Keeper.

Three time Grammy Award nominated K-Ci & JoJo will be joined on stage by Dru Hill at the Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam concert. Founded in 1992, this fascinating R&B and soul vocal music group hails from Baltimore, Maryland. It has released music via Island Records, Def Soul and Kedar Entertainment Group. The members of the group are Larry 'Jazz' Anthony, Mark 'Sisqo' Andrews, Antwuan 'Tao' Simpson and Tamir 'Nokio' Ruffin. The group rose to fame with its number one R&B hit songs, including How Deep Is You Love, In My Bed and Never Make a Promise. The group's members have also had successful solo careers, with Woody's albums gaining critical acclaim and Mark 'Sisqo' Andrews albums and songs making him a household name in the US.

Headlining at the Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam concert is yet another R&B vocal group, by the name of Silk. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the group has been active in R&B music since 1989 and released music via Elektra Records, Shanachie, Liquid 8 and their own label, Silk Music Group. They have been associated with artists such as Keith Sweat and others. Silk's members today are Jimmy Gates, Tim Cameron, Jonathen 'John-John' Rasboro, Gary 'Big G' Glenn and Gary 'Lil G' Jenkins. They rose to fame with such songs as I Can Go Deep, Don't Rush and Hooked On You. The group was discovered by Andrea Ryans and musician Keith Sweat and started as a quintet.

So far, Silk has released six albums, which include some chart-topping singles. These albums have gained both commercial and critical acclaim. At the upcoming concert, they will share the stage with Shai, an R&B band that has been active since 1992 and hails from Washington DC. Shai's music has been released by MCA, Big Play, 9 World Wide and their own label, Shai Music.

Shai's members today are Darnell Van Rensalier, George Spencer III, Dwayne Jones and Garfield A. Bright. The band is best known for its Billboard Hot 100 Number Two hit, If I Ever Fall in Love. Catch them all live at this concert with Throwback Sizzling Summer Jam tickets in hand.
