The BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte is inviting two minor league teams from the International League to go head to head against each other. Fans of Buffalo Bisons and Charlotte Knights are in for an exciting season as multiple playoffs are expected to take place. Home to Charlotte Knights, the ballpark has just opened its door to the public recently in March, 2014. Built especially for the Knights, the grass surfaced facility can accommodate as many as 10,200 attendees. Reserve a place for yourself at the stadium as Buffalo Bisons Vs Charlotte Knights tickets are now up for sale.

The team that will be challenging Charlotte Knights is Buffalo Bisons. With its roots currently set in Buffalo, the professional baseball team has a Triple-A affiliation with Toronto Blue Jays. The current minor league team is a reincarnation of the 1879 baseball club that played in the National League. After the team relocated to Boston in 1885, Buffalo didn't have a Minor League Baseball team until 1979. Supporting the colors, white, blue and scarlet, Buffalo Bisons has 7 Minor League titles and 4 Division wins to its credit. The team currently plays at the Coca-Cola Field that became its home arena in 1988. Previous stadiums where the team has played include the War Memorial Stadium, Hyde Park Stadium, Offemann Stadium, Buffalo Baseball Park and the Riverside Park. With Gary Allenson as the team's manager and Michael Buczkowski as the general manager, the Bisons is owned by Bob Rich Jr. Watch this highly successful minor league baseball team as it prepares to take on the Knights.

The team that will be defending its honor at the ballpark is Charlotte Knights. Formed in 1901, the Knights was initially known as Charlotte Hornets. Remaining an independent team in its initial years, the Hornets became affiliated with Minnesota Twins in 1937 for thirty five years. It was in 1972 when the Twins dropped their affiliation with the Hornets, that the minor league team changed its name to Charlotte Twins. Another name change was seen four years later after the baseball team became affiliated with Asheville Orioles. It wasn't until 1976 that the minor league franchise became Charlotte Knights, which to date remains the name of the team. Throughout its history the team has bagged 4 League titles and 3 Division wins.

In the upcoming series of games, the Knights will be seen supporting the colors silver, black, gold and white. Owned by Bill Allen and Don Beaver, the Charlotte based franchise is managed by Joel Skinner and Dan Rajkowski. Its current league major affiliation is with Chicago White Sox. If you are a supporter of the Knights or the Bisons, you should buy Buffalo Bisons Vs Charlotte Knights tickets now.
