August Alsina Tickets

The eminent hip hop artist, August Alsina will be hitting the road this May to entertain the audience in various states of America. His 2014 tour that is going to kick star on 17^th May will be hosted by the Mississippi Coliseum on its first night. He will then travel to different venues across the country, including Florence Civic Center and Howard Theatre, before his ten date tour is concluded on 4^th July in New Orleans. Alsina's schedule for upcoming concerts not only includes his 2014 tour, but also the 6^th June performance that he will be presenting at KS107.5 Summer Jam. He will be performing with Kendrick Lamar, the famous hip hop artist and TECH N9ne, who is an eminent rapper. Together the trio will be rocking the stage at the event in Englewood.

The singer, in the short span of his career, has become very popular amongst the masses. His very recent release, Testimony hit the shelves this April, and met a very positive response. The album debuted at number one position on the Soundscan R&B Chart, and was ranked at number two on several other charts. The chart topper also clinched the number one spot on the iTunes Top Albums Chart immediately after it came out. The album was also given four stars by AllMusic, who reviewed the it as a "..gratifying second step."

The positive reception that the album received from the critics and public was also depicted by the sales it had, which reached a total of 67,000 in the first week of the release. It also yielded the hit "I Luv This Shit", which became Alsina's first Billboard chart topper and was ranked at number one position on the Hip Hop Chart as well. The remix version of the song features the celebrated singer Chris Brown and has garnered more likes than the original track.

Before this, Alsina's EP album, Downtown: Life Under the Gun came out in 2013. The singer collaborated with eminent names like Kidd Kidd, Currensy and Trinidad James who gave guest appearances. AllMusic gave the album 3.5 stars. While commenting on the tracks in it, it was said that, "he's singing about his life, not romanticizing it."  The album's track, "Ghetto", which featured Rich Homie Quan became on of the most in demand song on the radio. The singer has also released some mixtapes, which include the 2011 Untitled, the 2012 release The Product and the most recent one, The Product 2, which was released in 2013.

However, Alsina not only devotes his complete time to recording tracks for his albums, but he was also featured on the cover page of XXL Magazine recently. The cover features the hit hip hop artists who have recently joined the industry, but have become popular within no time. One of these featured singers is Kevin Gates. Together, this young talented group of hip hop artists was named the "Freshman Class".

Apart from this, recently Alsina also accompanied 2 Chainz on his 20 date "2 Good to Be T.R.U" tour with Pusha T. The tour that kick started on 4^th February in Boston was very successful. The trio went to twenty cities, which included New York, Milwaukee and Los Angeles before it was concluded on 24^th March in Washington.
