Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Knight – Paul McCartney

Legend has it, that somewhere circa the early 1960’s, a man stormed out of a recording session after a huge fight with a fellow band member. Infuriated to his core, he drove around recklessly to shake of the anger until he met with an accident that left him dead. Today, that same man is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Knight, who has won more awards than we can count.

Born to a firefighter and a nurse in 1942, Sir Paul McCartney came into the world with a predisposition for music. At a young age, he learned various instruments by ear, and managed to perfect the left-hand guitar playing technique. In his fifteenth year, McCartney had the fortune of meeting a budding band under the leadership of a musical genius. The Quarrymen, with John Lennon at the center, became McCartney’s first in the world of music. It was the Quarrymen who later grew up to become the Beatles.

In 1960, the four boys officially became the Beatles. And little did they know that ten years later, they would become one of the biggest, most talked about, most watched and most loved act around the world. McCartney took on the role of bass player and singer, and for a decade, he honed his skills, sharpened his pipes and tuned his guitar until it was time for the little bird to fly solo.

When the Beatles broke up in 1970, McCartney embarked on a journey that would land him in the Guinness Book of World Records. McCartney went on to become a part of the band, Wings, and from there on, there was no looking back for him. Today, standing tall at seventy two, twenty four studio albums and seventy seven singles later, McCartney is unbeatable. After all, what can you expect from a man who survived his own death.
