The Pensacola Civic Center - a 10,000 seat municipal arena with over 20,000 square feet of exhibition space situated in Pensacola, Florida, owned by Escambia County and operated by SMG Management, is the world?s largest private management company for public facilities. Opened in 1985, The Pensacola Civic Center since then has organized many trade shows, regional sporting events, graduation ceremonies, even weddings, not to mention, events for some of the biggest names in the entertainment business, from Cher to Kiss, to Elton John, to Kenny Chesney. It comprises of 12 multipurpose meeting rooms with 13,000 square feet of meeting room, also available with full service on-site or off-site catering.

In 1996, the addition of a $2.1 million ice plant made the Civic Center the habitat of The Pensacola Ice Pilots. The ice rink is also used for public skating, birthday parties, figure skating, and amateur hockey.The Pensacola Civic Center has also had many guest speakers, including President George W. Bush in 2006. On March 9, 1994, the Pensacola Civic Center hosted the largest ?Rock for Choice? concert in history, organized by the band L7 and headlined by Pearl Jam.
