The expansion carried out in 2003 to meet Division 1-A standards bore fruitful results and the stadium was equipped with the best possible facilities. The latest artificial turf, Astroplay was installed along with the construction of a new press box and 27 luxury suites.

During the 2003 renovation, the old press box area was filled in and a larger press box and luxury box area was added behind the now completed upper deck. The track was removed and the field was lowered. The natural grass surface was replaced with AstroPlay synthetic grass.

Permanent seating was placed over the old Berm area behind the south grandstand. The stadium now has a capacity if 30,000. It is a flattened "U" shape stadium, with the north end still open. It does not only look beautiful, but also boosts of great facilities.

University Trojans shares a special bond with this stadium. Being there home ground, the Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium has shown them various experiences of game, sometimes good and sometimes bad. The Troy Trojans played their first game at the stadium on September 16, 1950.
