Greeley Stampede Tickets

The old West still lives on. Though the traditions have been replaced with contemporary practices but they still bring life to the various events celebrated today. One such event is the Greeley Stampede that lasts for a fortnight and is also termed as the Greeley Independence Stampede. The event covers bull-riding, pro-rodeo and kids rodeos, demolition derby, classic and country rock concerts, Western Art Show and scores of festival activities combined with food and fun galore. It is drawn from the years of the late 1800s. It was basically meant to honor local potato farmers but then developed into a festival which fetches approximately half a million people from several foreign countries as well as all parts of the United States.
Some of the festivities incorporated in the festival include fancy roping, a horse race, bucking bronc riding, motorcycle and bicycle races and a two-mile Model-T Ford
"free for all" race. It was due to a community contest in 1972 that the Greeley Independence Stampede entitlement came about. The events then focused on kids rodeo, carnival midway, free stage entertainment, country and classic rock, televised July 4 parade, kids rodeo, Pro Rodeos mixed with food stalls.
