Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California is an urban park for public which has been designed as a rectangle. Golden Gate Park attracts 13 million visitors every year. The Conservatory of Flowers is yet another attraction erected at Golden Gate Park which was inaugurated in 1879. It is one of the world's largest conservatories that is constructed out of traditional wood and glass panes. A group of San Franciscans presented it to the city after buying it. Golden Gate Park has been the chosen venue for several movies. Two of Charlie Chaplin's movies were filmed here in 1915. Apart from that, a scene in Orson Welles movie "The Lady from Shanghai" was filmed in the Steinhart Aquarium in the old California Academy of Sciences building.
