The Double Door is a concert hall and nightclub that is situated at 1572 N. Milwaukee Avenue. The Double Door venue was first opened on June 12, 1994. Artists that have featured here include Emilie Autumn, The Smashing Pumpkins, Local H, Naturedevil, Chevelle, Veruca Salt, Wilco, Jesse de la Pena, Liz Phair, and Cheap Trick, as well as The Rolling Stones.

The Double Door has also held such events as MOB fest, television show and movie filmings, and events sponsored by ASCAP, Maverick Records, MTV, VH1, Rolling Stone magazine and among others. The Double Door hosts a capacity of 473 people. It is two floors, has a stage, separate soundboards for both main and monitor speakers, a dance floor and a bar. Pool tables and a bar are located downstairs. At the six-corner intersection of North, Damen and Milwaukee is a concert venue that once staged shows for the Smashing Pumpkins and the Rolling Stones, and today hosts some of the best local, regional and national bands in the country.
