Dimitriou's Jazz Alley emerged as the West Coast's premiere jazz club in its first 20 years of existence. It is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Lenora Street in downtown Seattle. Its entrance points are between 6th and 5th Avenues.

Each week, Dimitriou's Jazz Alley brings the greatest names in jazz to Seattle's listeners. Top performing artists, such as Diane Schuur, McCoy Tyner, Oscar Peterson, Nancy Wilson, Eartha Kitt, and Dr. John have made weekly appearances at Jazz Alley.

Dimitriou's Jazz Alley first opened in 1979 in Seattle's University District. This pl;ace attracted a diverse clientele, and it also pulled in college students and jazz aficionados. You could very easily find a mixture of exciting performers here.

6 years after its establishment, Dimitriou's Jazz Alley relocated. It became a more accessible club at 6th and Lenora, which is considered to be the perfect venue for attracting new fans to world-class jazz music. It continues to offer its wonderful atmosphere it started with.

After it shifted to its new location, Dimitriou's Jazz Alley went through two remodels. The first one took place in July 1990, when the club expanded its stage and added a full mezzanine that overlooked the stage. The second renovation took place in June 2002, in which they included a state of the art sound system, an expanded stage, and a 100 more seats.
