Davie Arena is located at 6591 SW 45th St, Davie situated in the heart of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale which is known to many as the "Venice of America" due to its expansive and intricate canal system in Florida, United States.

Davie Arena or Davie Rodeo Arena was originally established as a rodeo arena when local residents began having rodeos there in early 1920"s.

In 1978 the town planned to scrap the arena for youth athletic fields but about 200 residents protested by riding on horse back to a Town Council meeting. The arena was saved and in result Davie Rodeo Association was formed to protect it. A roof was added to the arena in 1984-85.

In 1995 Ron Bergeron a developer and businessman and son of an active participant of rodeo arena Percy Bergeron donated $150,000 toward the purchase of land for parking followed by $160,000 in 1996 to landscape and pave the entryway. The area surrounding the arena was then named Bergeron Rodeo Grounds.

With the constant efforts of the Davie community the Davie Arena on the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds is now a vivacious 72,000 square foot facility under roof with a seating capacity of 7,500 occupants.

Though originally the center was established as a rodeo arena, but due to the need of increased multitalented activity in historical western theme down town district Davie, the arena expanded to meet the demands for such diverse events.

These events included top name concert entertainers and family events that include circus, monster trucks, horse shows, dog shows, car shows, air boat shows, specialty shows and industrial shows.

The regular events in Davie Arena include concerts, the Florida West Fair and the Davie Pro Rodeo Series. Other recent shows include the Southern State Bull Riding championship finals that brought 3,000 attendants to Davie Arena and the King of Carnage.

The near by bars include Beer Barn, Improv Paradise Live and Spirits Nightclub. While there are some good famous local restaurants and international chains around Davie Arena that includes Jerry & Joe's Pizza, KFC, Fulvio's, Wendy's, Lum's Restaurant, Della Ventura's Restaurant, Shoney's, Mc Donald's, SUBWAY and Burger King.
