Located between 14th Street and Speer Boulevard and between Champa Street and Welton Street - The Colorado Convention Center is a resourceful, versatile and a multi-use convention center in downtown Denver, Colorado.

Linked by a pedestrian bridge to Denver Performing Arts Complex and built over Stout Street, the total area of the convention center is 1.2 million sq. feet. Also beneath the building is the Regional Transportation District Light rail's Central Corridor. Currently D, F and H lines run on it. There is a stop on these lines; Convention Center/Performing Arts. It is diagonally located from Welton Street and from the historic Denver Athletic Club.

The convention center is the site of the Colorado State Spelling Bee, as well as most high school graduation ceremonies of Denver Public Schools.The Colorado Convention Center recently underwent a major extension. The expansion added 600,000 sq. feet of space along with the seating capacity of 5,200 concert hall. d
