It was converted into a tour in 2007 and another revival came about in December, 2012. That production played in Chicago and then shifted to Broadway on 27th September, 2012 for previews. The curtain was raised on the play on 13th October, 2012. It was a historical occasion because that date marked the fiftieth anniversary of its original production that opened way back on 13th October, 1962. The latest production drew widespread acclaim from everyone across the board. This included both fans and critics.
