The O'Neill Brothers are known for their piano music. It was since the age of five when the two youngest children in the O'Neill family, Tim O'Neill and Ryan O'Neill started playing music. Hailing from New Prague, the two continued this passion throughout their youth and it was while attending the University of Notre Dame, that Tim O'Neill further explored this passion.

On his return to the U.S., he decided to commit himself to composing, recording, and selling his own music. Some of his earlier performances include a regular schedule of holiday-themed performances at Minnesota grocery and department stores. Interestingly, Tim quickly found an audience even from such small performances who also bought his CDs after hearing his beautiful music.

It was in 1997 when Tim teamed up with his younger brother Ryan, and the two started making music under their own independent record label, Shamrock-n-Roll, Inc. This marked the beginning of The O'Neill Brothers who have soon developed ample fan base for themselves all over United States.

With wonderful musical CDs like Ave Maria, Canon in D, Danny Boy, On Eagles Wings and the more recent Holiday Home; the two brothers have truly made their mark on the instrumental music scene.

The O'Neill Brothers hold a Midas touch in their music and several of their albums have hit the Billboard charts for this reason. In 2004, the 3-CD Holiday Collection debuted on the Comprehensive Album chart of Billboard magazine. This was succeeded by a 3-CD set of romantic songs, titled From the Heart, that hit Billboard magazines Top Pop Catalog Album chart in 2005.

Till now, The O'Neill Brothers have released over 30 CDs of beautiful instrumental piano music and have sold more than one million copies of their albums. Considering the craze and promotion that Rock & Pop artists get today, the emergence of O'Neill Brothers as a profitable instrumental act looks quite an achievement in itself. Primarily noticed for their wedding songs, the duo slowly conquered all the areas of theme music be it holiday, patriotic, traditional and sentimental music.

The O'Neill Brothers are acknowledged for their multi-layered piano presentations that have struck a chord with wide audiences. What is even more praiseworthy is the consistency with which the two have been churning out one hit after the other for the past ten years.

The most memorable among these came in 2000 when they performed live for President George H. W. Bush at their first annual Holiday Concert Tour. Now extended to as many as nine cities, the tour has gained popularity over the years.

Not very satisfied with just blockbuster albums and sold out tours, The O'Neill Brothers have taken their music to all different areas where it can reach. Thy have written and performed music for numerous television programs including Sex and the City, and other programs of channels like HBO, PBS, NBC and ESPN.

The brothers duo also appeared on major network television shows like Saturday Night Live as well as QVC, where the brothers performed as they sold their 1,000,000 album. They have also been nominated for an Emmy for their impeccable music and stunning melodies.
