Hamish Linklater plays the role of Martin in Seminar and is chosen for the role because of his memorable performance in some off-Broadway shows. Making his debut on Broadway with Seminar, audience can't wait to see Linklater's performance.
The other two main characters of Seminar are Jerry O' Connell and Hettienne Park who plays the role of Douglas and Izzy respectively. Seminar is also O'Connell's Broadway debut after he has made a big name in films like Kangaroo Jack and Jerry Maguire. After making several appearances in films, Park made an off-Broadway debut and got a chance for a Broadway debut through Seminar. When these four characters come together to attend a seminar who is to be presided by Leonard, favoritism is done which gives rise to jealousies and animosities which starts to turn ugly and all four characters come to learn so many different things about each other and about the way how life works.
