There are a lot of shows, musicals, operas and ballets that come in theaters, comprising of all the genres, but there are a few who make an instant and a lasting impact. And one such show has made its way in theaters, relating to the genre of comedy, which is grabbing all the attention lately and the show is Seminar. What started as a class to learn something from, it turned out to be experiences for the four main characters of Seminar which became their life lessons and made them learn about life more than a class would have done. The characters learned to survive in different situations that came their way. Theresa Rebeck is a Pulitzer Prize nominated writer who took up writing a show which brought her to limelight once again after 'Mauritius'. The main feature star of Seminar is Alan Rickman who will play the role of Leonard in the show. Rickman is a notable actor and television star who is famous for his roles in Harry Potter and Die Hard films, Bottle Shock, Sense and Sensibility and Sweeney Todd. Rickman is making a comeback to Broadway with Seminar, first time after his role in 'Private Lives', a production by Noel Coward in 2002. The role got him a Tony Award nomination, second after his performance in Les Liasions Dangereuses in 1987. Lily Rabe is another one of the four main characters of Seminar and who plays the role of Kate. After a remarkable debut on Broadway in 'Steel Magnolias' for which she got a nomination for Drama Desk Award, Rabe made a Tony Award nomination performance in 'The Merchant of Venice'. Hamish Linklater plays the role of Martin in Seminar and is chosen for the role because of his memorable performance in some off-Broadway shows. Making his debut on Broadway with Seminar, audience can't wait to see Linklater's performance.
 
The other two main characters of Seminar are Jerry O' Connell and Hettienne Park who plays the role of Douglas and Izzy respectively. Seminar is also O'Connell's Broadway debut after he has made a big name in films like Kangaroo Jack and Jerry Maguire. After making several appearances in films, Park made an off-Broadway debut and got a chance for a Broadway debut through Seminar. When these four characters come together to attend a seminar who is to be presided by Leonard, favoritism is done which gives rise to jealousies and animosities which starts to turn ugly and all four characters come to learn so many different things about each other and about the way how life works.
 
The world premiere of Seminar is gaining all the buzz around and the booking of Seminar tickets start right off with the announcement of tickets in the market. Seminar is a show quite different from the usual theater shows as it just the right amount of sarcasm with humor.
