The journey that started in 1981 continues this year with Disney on Ice bringing its magic and wonder to your city. The show is produced by Feld Entertainment and is a spectacular event for adults and children alike. After all, whether you're forty or four, you know you have a favorite Disney movie.

Disney on Ice has a bunch of shows, which include "100 Years of Magic", "Passport to Adventure", "Worlds of Fantasy" and "Let's Party!" For kids, the characters, the costumes, the songs and the whirlwind of color is a sure-fire winner while for adults, the breathtaking displays do the trick. The production crew is extremely talented and their lifts and spins and dances on ice in those bulky costumes are truly commendable feats.
One of the most exciting shows offered by the company is "Princesses and Heroes" because what is Disney without its slew of heart-warming tales revolving around princesses and princes. Characters from quite a lot of movies are featured in this show. Fans can see Belle in her signature white-and-blue village girl dress, skating around with her new-found friends Lumiere and dozens of cutlery pieces; knives and forks spin around on ice to the unforgettable notes of 'Be Our Guest.'
Audiences get to see Aurora and Prince Phillip fall in love, and a very exciting part of the show is Maleficent as she comes on in her dragon-form on ice. The presentation of the show is done by Prince Naveen, the fun, independent prince we met in Princess and the Pea and Tinker Bell from Peter Pan. Audience also see Ariel and Eric, from The Little Mermaid struggle against the cruel curse of Ursula, as well as go on a magic carpet ride with Jasmine and Aladdin. A very exciting part of the show is when during the rendition of 'Under the Sea' from The Little Mermaid, a few people from the audience are picked to ride in the boat, on the ice! This, and the segment with the bubbles, is a great hit with kids. Other hit tunes and songs from the movie that are used during the show include 'Be Our Guest' from Beauty and the Beast, 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin and 'Once Upon a Dream' from Sleeping Beauty.
The second half of the show revolves around Cinderella's story and how with a little bit of faith, magic and some really fabulous glass slippers, she realizes her dream of finding her one true love. Others stories that we get to see play out in the show include Mulan, Rapunzel and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The "Princesses and Heroes" show will be staged throughout the month of April at the DCU Centre in Worcester, Massachusetts. Then the show will move to Chicago, Illinois at the start of September and will be performing at the United Centre. Their next stop will be Saint Louis, Missouri, where they will have seven shows at the Chaifetz Arena starting from September 10. At the end of the year, they will be in Youngstown, Ohio where they will perform seven shows at Covelli Centre, formerly known as the Chevrolet Centre starting from December 11. Princesses tickets are available for all these cities and offer a spellbinding experience for the whole family.
