Once, a Tony Award winning musical in the Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and in six other categories, is one of Broadway’s most popular and acclaimed musicals today. It premiered at the Off Broadway theater, the New York Theater Workshop where it saw several performances. It was directed by John Tiffany with Steven Hoggett as the choreographer.

In 2012, Once opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on February. It had the same choreographer, director and cast. It received a breathtaking eleven Tony Award nominations, of which it won an outstanding eight, including the highly coveted Tony Award for the Best musical. It also won several Drama League Awards, including the Distinguished Production of a Musical.
A West End premiere of Once planned at the Phoenix Theatre in 2013. The musical follows a story similar to the movie in which a busker playing guitar at a local bar meets a young Czech girl, who asks him questions on his music. The two then begin playing music together, kicking off a captivating relationship best seen live with Once tickets in hand.
This is a musical that has received rave reviews from the media. The New York Times calls it dimensional, vital, surprising and distinctive, praising its music.
