The Scott Stadium in Charlottesville is inviting football fans to watch an upcoming game in which teams from the University of Virginia and the University of California will be taking on each other. The renowned collegiate teams namely Virginia Cavaliers and UCLA Bruins are equally confident about winning the game that is scheduled to take place at the home arena of Virginia Cavaliers. The venue can accommodate as many as 61,500 spectators. Inaugurated in 1931, the facility was constructed to provide official grounds for football teams to practice on. Apart from playing that role, the Scott Stadium is known for hosting some of the biggest concerts in America. The musicians that have played at the venue include U2, the Rolling Stones and Dave Matthews Band. Like every year, this season the venue is playing host to exciting football games. Throughout the team's existence, it has grown from competing with the local YMCA teams to becoming a multi-million dollar collegiate operation. It currently competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division of the NCAA. Supporting the colors orange and blue, Virginia Cavaliers has eleven Consensus All-Americans and three Conference wins to its credit. With Craig Littlepage as the athletics' director and Mike London as the head coach, the Cavaliers are gearing up to put up a competitive front.
UCLA Bruins from the University of California was formed in 1919. The team's debut season ended with a score of 2-6. Initially partaking in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Bruins have competed in several sports conferences. Currently the team is a part of the Pacific-12 Conference. Coached by Jim L. Mora, the Bruins have a National win, 17 Conference titles, two Division titles, 39 Consensus All-Americans and a Heisman win to their name.
