St. Bonaventure Bonnies
St. Bonaventure University is committed to mentoring all student-athletes and enriching their intellectual, spiritual and physical growth and development. It is famous for providing facilities in the numerous areas of sports for its academia.

The game sessions are renowned and players come up with outstanding performances and new records. The university also features the availability of quality practitioners, many of whom are former student-athletes.

Student-Athlete Program
The program strives to provide competitive opportunities to a wide range of student-athletes at the conference, regional and national levels, and will engender support for the institution among many constituents including students, faculty, alumni, friends and local communities.

The Director
St. Bonaventure’s Assistant Athletics Director for Academic Support and Student Services, Michelle Kent, assists the student-athletes with class schedules, tutoring and exploring future opportunities.

Kent is responsible for addressing the specialized needs of Bona's student-athletes. They provide fundamental information on study skills, time management and campus life.

They are available for individual meetings with student-athletes and also maintain a high degree of personal contact with coaches and professors.

The Mission
The mission of the Department of Athletics at St. Bonaventure University is to complement and supplement the overall mission of the institution within the guidelines of the NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference.

The mission of the student-athlete support area is to foster self-reliance and independent thinking, to recognize the need for group interaction and promote group support based on this need, and to recognize individual differences in learning and ability and to provide individualized support based on these differences.

Strength and Conditioning Program
St. Bonaventure's strength and conditioning program has become a vital asset to the success of Bona athletics under the direction of head strength and conditioning coach Darryn Fiske.

The 2,200 square foot weight room houses state-of-the-art equipment to enhance the development of athletic performance for competition in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Equipment inside the center includes 3.5 tons of weights, dumbbells and Olympic barrels furnished with an array of strength training, rehabilitation and conditioning apparatuses

The Tennis
Along with the state-of-the-art outdoor facility, the Brown and White tennis programs also boast an indoor practice facility. Since it opened three years ago, the Bonnies have hosted a Fall Classic on the outdoor courts with programs throughout the region competing with the Bona men's and women's sides for a tournament title.

The courts officially opened on Friday, September 9, 2005 with a blessing from Fr. Alan Weber O.F.M. as well as University President Sister Margaret Carney, former Director of Athletics Dr. Ron Zwierlein and head tennis coach Mike Bates.

Golf Facilities
Bartlett Country Club Bartlett Country Club sits on 32 Euclid Avenue in Olean, New York. Located approximately three miles from the St. Bonaventure University campus, Bartlett Country Club provides the Bona golf team with a first-class facility for practice and competition throughout the golf season.

Golf Course
The 18-hole par-70 course measures 6,308 yards from the championship tees and has proved to be a challenging test for golfers of all caliber. The course and practice facilities rank among the best in Western New York as the facility includes s state-of-the-art driving range and putting green.

The spacious clubhouse houses course personnel offices, locker rooms, restaurant, bar and pro shop. The Bartlett Country Club complex also consists of tennis courts, a pool and conference center.

The Tournaments
Bartlett has hosted St. Bonaventure's Leo Keenan Invitational every fall since 1989 with the Bonnies capturing the title 13 times on their home course.

The club also hosts numerous amateur tournaments, highlighted by the Southwestern New York-Northwestern Pennsylvania Men's Amateur every August.
