Details of Ottawa Redblacks and the Ticket Luck value
In the Canadian Football League, one of its youngest franchises is the Ottawa Redblacks. Formed in 2010, the Redblacks play at the TD Place Stadium and is a member of the CFL's East Division. Rick Campbell serves as the head coach of the team. The Redblacks are playing their first season in pro football and fans are eager to get Ottawa Redblacks tickets to see them play live.
The Ottawa Redblacks were also awarded the right to host the Grey Cup finals game in 2014. The newly formed franchise was to begin playing in 2010 but due to cracks in their stadium, the franchise's launch was postponed. The team's debut was then set to 2013 but that was again postponed, following lawsuits. Further delays occurred when owner of the Ottawa Senators, Eugene Melnyk, announced plans for an MLS franchise in Ottawa, and thus began planning to build a soccer stadium.
Following debates and a vote, the Hunt–led group was allowed to build a stadium and in 2014, the Ottawa Redblacks played their first game, against the Blue Bombers. Their first victory was against the Toronto Argonauts, during their first home game. For the 2013 draft, the team picked Nolan Macmillan from the Iowa Hawkeyes, Kalonji Kashama from Eastern Michigan, Connor Williams from Utah State and Robert Morris from Tyler Digby.
It was stipulated that the Redblacks would be given the first pick in the 2014 CFL Draft, provided the franchise begin playing the same year. The Redblacks official mascot is a lumberjack who was originally named Big Joe Mufferaw. The mascot was based upon local folk legends of Big Joe Mufferaw but the name was shortened to Big Joe and Grand Jos, in French, after the name Mufferaw was criticized.
These are new beginnings for the team and it is all set to make a mark. If you want to see this young CFL franchise live then get hold of Ottawa Redblacks tickets.
