USL Professional Division has been bringing Division III soccer action since its inaugural season in 2011. Presently, the league comprises of fourteen soccer teams including Orlando City Soccer Club and Orange County Blues FC. Both of the franchises were founded in 2010 and started their play in the following year. Orlando City Soccer Club has always been among some of the most successful low division soccer franchises in the country. The team originally saw its formation back in 2008 under the moniker of Austin Aztex FC before relocating to Orlando, Florida. Since the inaugural season of USL Pro in 2011, Orlando City has been dominating the league by becoming USL Pro Champions twice in past three years. The team finished its 2011 and 2012 season at the first spot. Orlando City claimed its first championship in 2011 and its most recent win came in 2013. In 2014, Orlando entered the season as defending champions and currently the team is still sitting at top spot with prospects of winning yet another championship this year. Team's 2014 season is going to be its last season in USL Pro as its ownership has accepted to join Major League Soccer as an expansion franchise. From 2015, Orlando City will compete in Major League Soccer while the USL Pro team will be relocated to Louisville to become Louisville City.

 

Orange County Blues FC was also formed in 2010 and has been playing its home games at Anteater Stadium since 2014. The team took the soccer field for the first time back in 2011 and finished its regular season at 3rd spot while making it to the Divisional Semifinals. The following year, the team failed to make it to the playoffs and in 2013 Orange County Blues made their return to the playoffs but couldn't make it beyond the Quarterfinals. With the 2014 season still in progress, the team is expected to land in the playoffs for second time straight. As soon as the playoff rounds begin, Orange County Blues will have their eyes set on making it farther than the quarterfinals this time around. With the right kind of fan support, County Blues might just accomplish that.
