Lexington Legends
Class-A minor team Lexington Legends is based in Lexington, Kentucky and play in the South Atlantic League, in affiliation with Houston Astros. Team's ballpark, Applebee's Park, is situated in the city's inner Beltway inside the New Circle Road.
To play for the rest of the Houston Astros 2006, it was declared that for the third time, Roger Clemens would be coming out of his retirement to take charge as the team's pitcher. Clemens than made his come back to the baseball through Legends, which came out be really helpful on the part of Legends as Clemens allowed no walk but jus one run along with six strikes in 3 innings.
The Legends gained exposure on the national level for the second time, due to an unpleasant event caused by the Tourists Manager Joe Mikulik, who started arguing with the umpire, as he was ejected for the ballpark.
After the passage of several years, big L finally made his come back to Lexington. Big L's up bringing was done by two horse trainers who raised him in those beautiful horse farms. Ever since his childhood Big L has been fond of baseball, and played baseball through out his childhood in those lush farms.
After playing baseball at minor levels in his school and college he was finally drafted by the Houston Colts 45's. This is where his dreams and wishes of playing for a Major League Baseball team were realized. Now as he has retired and it's no more playing for him, he has finally made his way back to his home town of Lexington.
Big L's wife, Elle was born and bred in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ever since her childhood Elle was really good at softball and apart from that she was a huge fan of Houston Colts 45's specially Big L. The couple dated for some time but not after long they both lost contact with each other.
However fate had something else in mind for them, and their destined reunion happened during the 2004 Major League Baseball All Star Game. At their reunion Elle made a promise that she would head to Lexington just to be back with Big L. Later the couple got married in April 2006 at Applebee's Park.
Shortly after their marriage Big L and Elle were blessed with a baby boy, which they called Little L. Little L is also fond of baseball and catch just like his father, and desires to become the part of Legends roster.
